“REVOLUTION” MUSEUM
by Nataliya Babintseva

Reasons to give you the prize of the University of InnsbruckThe film “Revolution” Museum points out to things happening in the world that otherwise would be ignored, and it makes us want to know more about the Maidan-Movement. It provides knowledge, while being captivating and authentic. The esthetic part is extraordinarily important, the camera, the dynamics, music and athmosphere, and, most of all, the strong and unforgettable images. The two main subjects, revolution, which means change, and museum, which means preservation, are discussed through the objects, the artworks. This film shows beautifully that art is part of a process that changes the world. It concentrates on the creative part of revolution, in Opposition to Mainstream-medias that focus on violence. This is surprising and opens new perspectives.
